Went over to Loft, Zouk for GUM with DJ Gabriel and Hazriq. I wish I could tell you how great the music was or what genre of dance music it was, but I’m a n00b when it comes to categories. In short, it was fucking fantastic. It was sharp, dark and sexy electro. LOVE LOVE LOVE the GUM concept. It was definitely nice to get away from the norm. A few captures from a great night.

Was seen rocking the decks at Maison for WhateverKL. It was nice to have a different location for this whole indie/nu rave/electro nights. You guys should check it out, tentatively 27th next month at Maison again. Oh, Bang-Mi is coming soon too on the 6th of June. Ethan a.k.a. illKiDD and Goldfish be rocking KL with the birth of Vice Modern Disco (VMD).

Have you tuned into the new radio station? I heard about it for the longest time since the Adidas Sounds Of The City event through Nesh, but never actually got to look for it until I saw it on Alvin (the new DJ on the station)’s Facebook status. 88.9 Capital FM is the latest baby. I actually am tuning in for the first time right now after seeing Gabriel’s Facebook status that he and Joey is on air now with their dance show. I am not a radio person unless it’s worth it. I plugged in my handsfree to my Sony Ericsson and bopping my head to the boys’ selection, which I am a big fan of anyways. If you notice, I have a lot of events I am out with Gabe being the DJ. I go for quality, yo.

Tune into DJ Gabriel and Joey G’s dance show on 88.9 Capital FM every Monday to Fridays from 10pm till 1am. Now that’s some dope shit right there.

Went out on Friday Night for that 20 Years Celebrating House Music at Velvet Underground, Zouk. It was a girls’ night out when Ailia and Sueann joined me that night, with their friends. There were plenty of Long Islands and dancing going around. Fun, yet tiring night. Gabriel was on the decks, of course I’m there to support.
