Was at Ritz Carlton for the private Sunburst night party/gathering at Ritz Carlton the night before the event. I was invited by Ethaya about 4 hours before the event. I was told I may have the opportunity to rub shoulders with the big celebrities, and John Legend was the only one in my head and that kept me excited. I made my way there, waited for him for about half an hour, because I am one of those rare ‘on-time’ people in Kuala Lumpur.

Anyways, there were a lot of familiar faces there, so I felt alright, because I was afraid I’d be alone and bored. It was a pretty boring event, but the free flow of champagne helped a lot because Tuborg sucks ass. Najwa, Reza Salleh and Yuna performed. The hall was too big and everyone was standing away from the stage, as usual. It wasn’t intimate and it seemed too pretentious. Maybe the latter was intentional, but whatever it was, it was great that I get to meet a lot of people I haven’t seen for a long time, especially the girlies of Steph!!, Cammy, Dhanya and Apsara. Didn’t get to take a photo with them because I was mesmerised by their beauty. Ahem.
